Arsenal have been diligent when it comes to contract renewals in recent months, and are now planning to offer a new deal to young starlet Amario Cozier-Duberry.
The 18-year-old is one of the brightest talents coming out of the Hale End Academy, and has featured in the matchday squad on a number of occasions.
His elite performances at youth level have now meant that he is attracting interest from other clubs, but Arsenal will do their best to keep the winger.
Arsenal to offer Cozier-Duberry new deal
Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that in order to fend off interest from other clubs, Arsenal will enter talks to tie down the teenager on a long-term deal.
“Understand Arsenal are planning talks with Amario Cozier-Duberry over a new deal in the next weeks/months as his contract will expire on 30th June 2024,” Romano tweeted.
“Discussions are currently ongoing. Several Premier League & European clubs are interested, monitoring the situation.”
How good is Amario Cozier-Duberry?

The winger has been compared to arguably Hale End’s biggest success story Bukayo Saka given his style of play, as a left-footed right-winger.
Jack Wilshere has referred to him as “exciting,” and he has scored once in nine youth appearances this season.
With 12 goals and eight assists in 31 academy games last season, the teenager may be the next youth starlet in line to make a first-team debut, with Ethan Nwaneri and Charles Sagoe Junior featuring on the pitch for the senior sides.
There have been concerns about the lack of rotation for Saka, and perhaps Cozier-Duberry may be aiming for a debut in next week’s League Cup tie against West Ham.
Arsenal will be eager to tie him down, having signed up the likes of Saka, William Saliba, Martin Odegaard and Nwaneri in recent months, and it would be a major boost for the winger to sign a new deal and potentially feature for the first time.
