Arsenal are one of the most attractive teams in the world for players right now.

Mikel Arteta has transformed the Gunners over the years, and they are the favourites to win all the trophies this term.

That is why almost every player in Europe would jump at the chance of moving to the Emirates, but there are a few who have wanted to join Arsenal since they were kids.

Luiz Henrique is one of them.

Brazil international Luiz Henrique reveals his Arsenal dream

Henrique is a right winger who plays for Zenit St Petersburg and the Brazil national team

The 24-year-old began his career at Fluminense after joining the club at the age of nine. He made his senior debut there before having spells at Real Betis and Botafogo. He then moved to Russia earlier this year.

Henrique has earned 11 caps for Brazil and has shared the pitch with Arsenal stars Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes.

He must have loved playing with those two players because he grew up with the dream of moving to England and playing for Arsenal.

Speaking to Globo Esporte, Henrique said: “I’ll let life take me. I want to fulfil my contract here at Zenit, but I have dreams of playing in a team in England, playing in the Champions League.

“Since childhood, (the dream) has always been playing in England. There is a team there that I like very much, which is Arsenal. But, as I said, I want to fulfil my contract first.”

This is what Luiz Henrique is capable of!

Should Arsenal sign Luiz Henrique in January?

There are many players around the world who are big Arsenal fans, but very few get the opportunity to play for the Gunners.

Henrique is a decent player, but it is extremely unlikely that Arteta or Andrea Berta will even consider him.

The Brazilian, who is predominantly a right winger, has managed to score just 35 goals in 281 senior appearances for club and country.

That is simply not good enough from an attacking player, which is why we think he is not going to be a target for Arsenal.

Furthermore, the Gunners have Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke and Max Dowman on the right flank, so they don’t need any more players in that position.
