Arsenal are ready to make Vinicius Jr their highest-paid player ever

Arsenal have paid massive salaries to many players over the years.

Both Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were on £350,000 a week during their prime, while the new deal Bukayo Saka signed is said to be worth £365,000 a week.

Vinicius Jr is currently on £400,000 a week, while reports elsewhere have revealed that he has been demanding closer to £500,000 a week to sign a new deal at Real Madrid.

Now, The Telegraph have revealed Arsenal’s stance.

The report claims that the Premier League champions don’t view Vinicius’ salary as a hurdle at all and are prepared to make him the highest-paid player in their entire history.

That means Arsenal are ready to pay him in excess of £400,000 a week on top of a transfer fee which is likely to exceed £100 million.

Josh Kroenke made it clear to everyone that the Gunners would be ambitious going forward after winning the title last summer.

His stance on Vinicius, if it is true, shows that he is a man of his word and deserves enormous praise.
