How Marcus Rashford has now reacted after Arsenal ask about signing him

One of the most surprising transfer links ahead of the summer window is Marcus Rashford to Arsenal.

The Gunners are on the market for attacking reinforcements, and they have been linked with several big names over the last few months.

Rashford, who spent last season on loan at Barcelona, is one of them after the Catalans signed Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United.

However, the Manchester United man doesn’t seem to fancy a move to the Emirates Stadium, or any other English club for that matter.

Marcus Rashford is not even ready to listen to Arsenal

Marcus Rashford had a good season on loan at Barcelona.

The England international only started 26 games for the Spanish giants in all competitions, but he still ended up directly contributing to 28 goals – 14 goals and 14 assists.

Barca had an option to make Rashford’s move permanent, but the Catalans are not ready to pay the pre-agreed €30 million fee, reports Sport.

That, combined with the signing of Gordon, has opened the door for other clubs to pursue a move for Rashford.

The report claims that Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have all asked about signing the Manchester United man.

However, Rashford is not even ready to speak to any of those clubs because he has his heart set on a permanent move to the Camp Nou.

It remains to be seen now who Arsenal will turn to.

Arsenal don’t need Marcus Rashford

Rashford, on his day, is a world-beater.

The Englishman possesses the ability to win games on his own for his side, and he has done so many times over the years.

However, Rashford will turn 29 in October, and consistency has forever remained his biggest issue. That is not going to change.

Arsenal are better off signing Morgan Rogers, who is younger, has more potential, and, in our opinion, would be a significantly better signing this summer.
