The next transfer window is still many weeks away, but there are already several rumours about Arsenal players.
The Gunners did a great job in the 2024 summer window. They brought in some solid names while also offloading quite a few players – either on loan or permanent deals.
Arsenal’s focus is now on the pitch, and they have had a good start to the season despite a very difficult schedule in the first two months of the campaign.
All eyes are on what Arteta’s men will do in the coming weeks, but the futures of some of his players remain up in the air.
Juventus and Inter Milan eye move to sign Arsenal’s Thomas Partey
Thomas Partey’s time at Arsenal appears to be coming to an end.
The Ghana international joined the Gunners from Atletico Madrid on the transfer deadline day of the 2020 summer window.
Partey was viewed by many as the missing puzzle in Arsenal’s midfield, but injuries have been really cruel to him in recent years.
The 31-year-old has missed a total of 80 games for club and country since he moved to the Emirates, which is a shocking record.
Now, Partey has entered the final year of his contract, and the expectation is that Arsenal will not extend his deal. He is set to leave on a free transfer.
Juve Live claim that Juventus and Inter Milan are both battling each other to sign the former Atletico Madrid midfielder in 2025.
Partey, branded as ‘underrated’ by Oleksandr Zinchenko has been linked with a move to Turin in the past, but the report claims that he never really showed any interest in leaving Arsenal.
It remains to be seen what his plan is in 2025 – he can sign a pre-contract in January with any foreign club of his choosing.

Should Arsenal extend Partey’s deal?
On his day, Partey is up there with the best midfielders in the Premier League and perhaps even Europe.
The Ghanaian has shown flashes of his brilliance this season too – he was excellent in the 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad.
However, keeping hold of Partey doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Firstly, Partey earns a staggering £200,000-a-week at Arsenal. His injury record does not justify such a high salary.
To add to that, Partey will be 32 years old in the summer of 2025, and it is very unlikely that he will be able to cope with the speed and intensity of this league.
We think letting Partey leave on a free would be the best thing for all parties.
