With the Premier League season now over for another few months, attention firmly turns towards the summer transfer window.

Arsenal are expecting a big few months of business, with plenty of incoming signings and exits around the corner.

Andrea Berta is putting his plan of action into place, with the Gunners’ shortlist taking shape for a return to the market.

So, with that said, here’s a look at all of the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours ahead of another busy day.

Andrea Berta makes direct contact over Benjamin Sesko deal

Arsenal’s search for a new striker has spanned many transfer windows, but Andrea Berta will be hoping to put an end to that.

Plenty of links have occurred, but Florian Plettenberg reports that Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres are the top two on the radar.

While the latter has been of interest, the reporter claims that there has already been direct contact over the former.

Berta is believed to have spoken to RB Leipzig chief Marcel Schafer over the conditions for a move.

It’s claimed that the Bundesliga club would be forced to sell Sesko, due to their inability to qualify for the Champions League.

Andrea Berta has also contacted Rafael Leao over a move

While contact is believed to have been made over Sesko, Berta’s discussions over a new forward haven’t stopped there.

According to Calciomercato, talks have also been held over the possibility of Arsenal signing Rafael Leao this summer.

The AC Milan star is believed to be open to an exit from the club, following a difficult season.

It’s claimed that Leao isn’t a main option considered by Arsenal, but rather an alternative to other wingers.

Meanwhile, rivals Chelsea are showing an interest, alongside clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Clubs join Arsenal in Joan Garcia transfer race

Arsenal’s interest in Joan Garcia as an option to bolster their goalkeeping ranks is well known at this stage.

However, the North London outfit aren’t alone in their admiration of the shot-stopper, as Fabrizio Romano claims several other teams are eyeing a deal.

Barcelona are believed to be watching the Spaniard, along with clubs in the Premier League and Bundesliga.
