Arsenal are seemingly in the market for young attacking talent, and they may have just identified a potential superstar.

Arsenal signed Raheem Sterling on loan on transfer deadline day in their search for a new winger, but they are still seeking out longer-term options.

Bukayo Saka is the guaranteed starter on the right wing, but more cover for him would be welcomed, and Arsenal could be set to poach one of Barcelona’s finest young talents as a result.

Mikel Arteta will eventually want to add a young winger to his squad who can provide game-changing moments in front of goal, whilst also bringing the sheer speed and creativity of Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, and he may have identified his next target.

Arsenal now interested in Barcelona starlet Arnau Pradas

It has now been reported by Mundo Deportivo that Arsenal are interested in Barcelona starlet Arnau Pradas.

The 18-year-old is a left-footed winger who has featured on both sides, and he has been in excellent form recently, with three goals in his last three appearances.

Pradas is a left-footed winger, and when he plays on the right, he cuts inside onto his stronger foot like fellow La Masia graduate Lamine Yamal, with the younger teenager thriving in the Barcelona first team.

Arteta has reportedly given the green light to sign the player, with reported ‘concrete interest’ in the teenager, and this is certainly a deal to keep an eye on.

Arsenal may have to deal with Juliano Belletti in Arnau Pradas transfer

Pradas is thriving in the Barcelona under-19s, who are managed by Juliano Belletti, and this is a figure Arsenal are very familiar with.

Arsenal reached the Champions League final in 2006, and they faced Barcelona but suffered disaster. Sol Campbell’s goal gave the 10 men of Arsenal the lead, before goals from Samuel Eto’o and Belletti gave Barcelona the win.

Belletti also played for Chelsea in his career, and if he has any say in Pradas’ transfer, he may be reluctant to lose such a big talent.

However, Arsenal may sense that Barcelona are ready to cash in on some of their top young talent, and could take full advantage.

Barcelona are still struggling financially, and could be forced into a number of key sales to solve their issues, with Pradas one who they could potentially cash in on given the interest from Arteta.
