Arsenal starlet Brooke Norton-Cuffy is set to move to Championship side Millwall on loan, as he continues his development.

The 19-year-old is highly rated at the club, and had a productive loan spell at Coventry City last season, as he helped his side reach the playoff final.

The right-back has impressed on a number of loans away from Arsenal in his career so far, and will now move across London to Millwall, where he can continue to make a name for himself in the EFL.

A report from London News Online has revealed that he is set to complete a loan move today, in time to face Stoke City on Saturday for his debut.

Why Pele Is Overrated.

Norton-Cuffy made 24 appearances for Coventry last season, and could become a key player for Gary Rowett this season.

How good is Norton-Cuffy?

Despite the success of a number of Arsenal academy stars who have made the first team, such as Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah, there have been few defenders who succeeded in the transition from academy football to the Premier League at the club in recent years.

Norton-Cuffy perhaps has the best chance out of anyone to break this trend. The teenager is both quick and powerful, and has such immense dribbling technique that he has sometimes even played as a winger.

Former Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton described him as “outstanding” when he was on loan there in 2022, and he has only gotten better since.

A productive spell at Millwall could see him return to Arsenal next summer as a genuine candidate to join the first team squad, and this will be no easy feat for the England youth international.

Given that he is also capable of playing on both flanks, perhaps he could be a long-term internal solution as an inverted full-back under Mikel Arteta. Before this though, his progress at Millwall will be carefully watched by Arsenal, given that he is one of the brightest talents in the academy.
