Pawel Ziemonczyk, the agent of Jakub Kiwior, has now spoken out amid reports the defender is eager to leave Arsenal with AC Milan showing an interest in his transfer.
The 23-year-old only came to Emirates Stadium from Spezia last January as Arsenal moved to improve Mikel Arteta’s backline. But Kiwior has struggled to establish a prominent spot in the Spaniard’s team. Kiwior has started in just 14 of the Poland star’s 24 appearances so far.
Just seven of the centre-back’s starts have also come through his 16 appearances so far this season. Kiwior has also only featured for a total of 707 minutes, despite being a part of all 31 matchday sides. Six of his starts even came at left-back as Oleksandr Zinchenko’s stand-in.

Jakub Kiwior wants to leave Arsenal amid interest from AC Milan
Now, reports by Calciomercato suggest Kiwior is pushing to leave Arsenal in January with AC Milan targeting his transfer. The Rossoneri are eager to secure a loan deal with the option to buy as Stefano Pioli reacts to thigh injuries to Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaw and Pierre Kalulu.
Arsenal are reluctant to sanction his loan transfer but AC Milan remain hopeful as Kiwior fits their desired profile. San Siro chiefs feel the Tychy native is physically strong, is ready to play at a high level and is left-footed. While Kiwior wants to leave Arsenal to get regular minutes.

But AC Milan are not alone in showing an interest in Kiwior’s transfer, should Arsenal warm to letting him leave. Calciomercato.it also suggested in December that Lazio, Napoli, Nice and Roma have studied a swoop. Brentford, too, appreciate what Kiwior can give Thomas Frank.
What has Jakub Kiwior’s agent said about a January transfer?
But Ziemonczyk has poured cold water over all suggestions that Kiwior may leave Arsenal in the January transfer window. The representative has declared that the Gunners have shown zero desire to let him leave. He also doubts the Gunners will change their stance this month.
“Kuba is an Arsenal player,” Ziemonczyk told Kanal Sportowy. “There are no signs that they want to get rid of him, and I don’t think anything will happen in the winter window.”
Kiwior agreed to sign a contract to June 2028 to secure his transfer to Arsenal from Spezia last January. His versatility has since led to most of the defender’s appearances under Arteta and will remain vital this season. Arteta has also called Kiwior ‘really impressive’ defensively.
