VoetbalNieuws revealed last Sunday that Arsenal are interested in signing Ajax right-back Noussair Mazraoui this summer.

That link has been backed by multiple outlets over the last few days, with some claiming that German giants Bayern Munich are set to rival the Gunners for his signature in the coming weeks.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo have shed some more light on the rumour and they have now revealed that Bayern and Arsenal can sign the talented Moroccan right-back for as little as £9 million this summer.

Mikel Arteta and Edu are on the lookout for a new right full-back this summer. Hector Bellerin is on his way out with the report claiming that Real Betis will be his new home soon.

Arsenal have been linked with a whole host of new options ahead of the summer window.

Max Aarons, Tariq Lamptey, Emerson Royal, Sergino Dest and most recently Zeki Celik are all reportedly on Edu’s wish list, but Ajax star Mazraoui may just be the best option.

Just £9m for Arsenal-linked Mazraoui is a huge bargain

All the right-backs on Arsenal’s wish list will cost in excess of £20 million. Getting Mazraoui for less than half of that would make him one of the biggest bargains in Europe this summer.

The 23-year-old will offer something different to Arsenal. He isn’t rapid like Bellerin, but he is a much better dribbler and his passing skills are arguably one of the best in Europe for a right-back.

Mazraoui is a huge upgrade on Bellerin and his reported price tag makes this deal even more appealing. Edu should make him a priority now, but Bayern Munich’s interest could complicate things in the coming weeks.
