Report: Arsenal star extremely frustrated under Arteta; wants to leave ASAP

According to The Athletic, Hector Bellerin is ‘extremely frustrated’ at life under Mikel Arteta and wants to get out of Arsenal immediately.

The Spaniard has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer. Inter Milan looked the favourites for his signature at one point, but the Nerazzurri have found Denzel Dumfries now, and that puts an end to Bellerin’s chances of moving to the San Siro.

A move looks unlikely now for Bellerin, and sadly for the Spanish international, his prospects of playing regularly at the Emirates don’t look great either.

Bellerin ‘extremely frustrated’ at Arsenal

It is no secret that Inter Milan were in talks with Arsenal to sign the full-back. However, the Gunners hierarchy made it almost impossible for them to agree a deal, and the report claims that Bellerin is ‘extremely frustrated’ as a result.

That hasn’t forced the former Barcelona man to accept his fate and sit on the bench. The report claims that Bellerin is still determined to leave Arsenal before the end of this transfer window, which is just 15 days away.

It really will be interesting to see who Arsenal can find as a replacement if Bellerin leaves. A number of names have been linked already, but with Cedric Soares, Calum Chambers and Ainsley Maitland-Niles all still available, it won’t be easy to free up space.

Emerson and Tripper linked

The report has revealed that Arsenal are interested in La Liga stars Emerson Royal and Kieran Tripper. However, the Gunners are hoping to sign either one of them in a swap deal that would see Bellerin go the other way.

Emerson would be a very interesting signing. He’s still only 22, has had two very impressive seasons with Real Betis in Spain, and if we can get him by just sending Bellerin the other way, it would be an excellent piece of business on our part.

However, the issue with Barcelona is that they are desperate for money, not players. With Sergi Roberto and Sergino Dest available at Ronald Koeman’s disposal, they might not be keen on Bellerin at all, which could bring an end to our hopes of signing Emerson.
