Arsenal may soon find their resolve to keep Charlie Patino tested.
According to scout Michele Fratini, speaking to Pianeta Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan, and Napoli are all interested in Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino, who could be available for £30 million.
Patino is currently flourishing whilst on loan with Championship club Swansea City. He has quickly established himself as a key player for the Welsh outfit. So far this season, the 20-year-old midfielder has racked up eleven appearances in the second tier, and has contributed one goal and four assists.
Patino has ambitions to make the grade at Arsenal. He has also credited a number of the club’s Hale End academy graduates, currently involved with the north London outfit’s first team squad, with inspiring him and helping him to improve. Mikel Arteta also clearly rates the youngster highly, having handed him his senior debut for the Gunners back in December 2021.

An uncertain future ahead for Charlie Patino
Despite there being a pathway to the first team at the Emirates Stadium potentially in place for Patino, he may well be lured away from that route by this mooted Serie A interest.
Having previously been lauded as a “serious” player by Premier League icon Rio Ferdinand, it is no surprise to see Patino attracting such attention. The Gunners should not dismiss it out of hand, either.
£30 million would be a very decent fee to generate for a player utterly unproven at the highest level, as long as Arsenal can include some sort of buy-back agreement into any deal to sell Patino, so that they can bring him back to the club if he starts to shine elsewhere.
For now, though, Patino needs to ignore any such speculation about his future. He needs to focus on his development at Swansea and keep up the good work he has been doing so far.
