Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with a move to sign Viktor Gyokeres this summer.
The Sweden international is one of the most prolific strikers on the planet, and he has been sensational for Sporting CP over the last two years.
Gyokeres, who Andrea Berta is a big fan of, is almost certain to leave the Portuguese club this summer, and he will not be short of suitors in the coming weeks.
Sporting think they know his preference.
Sporting CP think Viktor Gyokeres will choose Arsenal
Arsenal are in a much better position than Manchester United.
The Gunners’ finances are healthier, they have the better manager, and they will play in the Champions League again next season.
Manchester United will have no European football to offer, and that could be a problem if they wish to attract the best players in the world.
It could cost them in their pursuit of Viktor Gyokeres too, especially if Arsenal decide to go for him in this transfer window.
The Mirror claim that Sporting CP believe Gyokeres will pick Arsenal over any other club interested in him if he had the choice.
It has been revealed that the Swede ‘fancies’ a move to the Emirates and will be available for just over £60 million in the coming weeks.
That is good news for Arsenal if they wish to go down that route.

Arsenal could do a big favour to Manchester United
Manchester United fans will be upset to find out that Gyokeres wants to join Arsenal.
The Red Devils and the Gunners have shared a very fierce rivalry for a long time, and supporters of neither club want to see the other succeed.
But, Arsenal could end up doing Manchester United a big favour in the coming days.
The Gunners are pushing to sign Benjamin Sesko, and if that deal goes through, Berta will end his pursuit of Gyokeres.
That could then open the door for United to land the Swede.
