Surprise rumours have emerged stating that Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is on his way to Galatasaray.
Andrea Berta is working on several sales this summer, and there is a chance that the Norwegian could be one of the players heading out the door.
That led to a wild rumour from Turkey that Odegaard has agreed personal terms to join Galatasaray after his agent flew to Istanbul for talks.
It was also claimed that the Turkish champions are looking to close a deal for under €40 million, that too in instalments.
If Arsenal were to sell Martin Odegaard how much money would you want for him?
That rumour has now been rubbished.
Sam Dean of The Telegraph has revealed that there is no truth in rumours linking Odegaard with a move to Galatasaray this summer.
The claim that his agent was in Turkey recently has also been debunked.
Dean tweeted: “In case anyone was worried about some of these reports from Turkey, I’m assured Martin Odegaard is not in talks to join Galatasaray and that his agent Bjorn Kvarme was not in Istanbul last week.”

Hearing that Odegaard, who is in the prime years of his career and is a recently-crowned Premier League-winning captain, is leaving the best league in the world for Turkey did seem strange.
The Norwegian could yet leave Arsenal this summer, but if that happens, we’re sure it will be to a big club in a big league.
