Arsenal fans have taken to social media to call for Sergio Ramos to be signed following the team’s injury crisis.
Ramos has just left Mexican club Monterrey after announcing that he has now played his final game; however, he is keen to keep playing.
The 39-year-old is now on the free agent market and is ready to evaluate the offers that he receives from clubs.
Arsenal have lost Gabriel for around two months with the Brazilian having picked up a groin issue. Saliba and Mosquera have since joined him on the injury table.
Following Ramos becoming a free agent, one fan said on X: “Hear me out, Arsenal… Pay-as-you-play contract…”
Another added: “Señor Ramos, one last dance in North London at Emirates?”

It feels like Ramos playing in the Premier League could be a recipe for disaster, but having such a player in the dressing room could actually be huge for Mikel Arteta’s squad.
