Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Valencia and Spain youngster Yarek Gasiorowski ahead of a possible move.

18-year-old Valencia wonderkid Yarek Gasiorowski is attracting the attention of Arsenal due to his performances being beyond his years.

Arsenal are believed to have been trailing the youngster for quite some time if a report from AS is to be believed. The youngster is described by the paper as ‘ahead of his time’ which explains why the Gunners would be interested.

Who is Yarek Gasiorowski?

A Spain U19 international, Gasiorowski is a 6ft 2in centre-half and clearly an aerial threat given he’s scored five for the Spanish U19s.

At just 18 years old, Gasiorowski would likely be an academy player initially at least. However, given his clear talent which Valencia have seen as deserving of senior football – handing him three La Liga appearances.

A left-footed centre-half, Gasiorowski could be the long-term understudy and eventual successor to Gabriel Magalhaes who will need to recover from his poor outing against Colombia.
