The Arsenal U21s beat Newcastle United in dramatic fashion in Premier League 2.
The young Gunners have had a difficult campaign under Max Porter. They went on a run of five games without a win, and that included a 7-0 defeat to Liverpool.
Since then, the Arsenal U21s have turned it around and are now four games unbeaten.
Andre Harriman-Annous scored the only goal of the game to give his side the win on Friday.

Arsenal win dramatic U21 clash against Newcastle United
The game between Arsenal and Newcastle United’s U21 sides was full of drama.
The Magpies haven’t had a great season, which is why the young Gunners were viewed as the favourites to win the game before the ball was even kicked.
Arsenal did emerge victorious, but it was more difficult than expected.
Demiane Agustien and Brando Bailey-Joseph both came close to scoring in the first half. The former narrowly missed, while the latter’s volley was saved well. Newcastle almost scored too, but Michael Mills’ strike hit the post.

In the 80th minute, Matheos Ferreira was shown a straight red card for a poor challenge on Arsenal defender Callan Hamill.
That gave the Gunners a late advantage, and in the 96th minute, they won a penalty after Harriman-Annous was brought down inside the box.
The drama didn’t stop there as the youngster, who took the penalty himself, had his shot saved by Magpies keeper Aidan Harris.
However, Harriman-Annous made no mistake from the rebound and scored the goal that proved to be the winner for the Arsenal academy side.
Could this be Arsenal’s starting XI in 10 years?
Two January signings featured for Arsenal U21s vs Newcastle
Arsenal signed Evan Mooney and Jaden Dixon during the winter transfer window.
The striker started the game against Newcastle on Friday, and just before half-time, he went on an impressive solo run towards goal. Sadly, his attempt was weak and didn’t threaten the goal.
Dixon, who was viewed as a ‘massive signing’ by Arsenal, replaced Marli Salmon at the back at half-time, and he played really well in the second half.
It was great to see both players getting good minutes under their belts, and we expect to see a lot more of them at U21 level in the coming months.
The Arsenal U21s take on Reading next in Premier League 2, a day after the senior side’s North London Derby clash against Tottenham.
