While the Arsenal academy is producing plenty of stars for the first-team, some move on to new opportunities to test themselves in their career.
That has often come with mixed success, though the most notable out there currently are the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Alex Iwobi and Donyell Malen.
The current class of Arsenal academy stars are looking to have the same impact on the game as those mentioned, whether that’s at the Emirates Stadium or elsewhere.
For Zane Monlouis though, that future appears to be away from Arsenal as he has confirmed his exit from the club.

Zane Monlouis transfer from Arsenal to Toronto FC confirmed
Arsenal have confirmed that academy defender Zane Monlouis has made the permanent switch to MLS side Toronto FC.
The 21-year-old has signed a two-year deal, which includes the option for another two years if it is triggered in the contract.
The young defender didn’t make his senior debut for the Gunners, but did feature in two squads this season – both in the Champions League, against Shakhtar Donetsk and AS Monaco.
Monlouis featured heavily for the under-18s and under-21s, having made his way through the ranks since 2012.
That 13-year journey also saw him make a loan move to Reading, though that only led to one senior appearance for the side before a return to Arsenal.
In a statement on the official website, the club said on the transfer: “We thank Zane for his contribution to the club during his time with us and wish him all the best for his next chapter with Toronto FC.”

Zane Monlouis confirms transfer exit on social media
With Monlouis joining Toronto in a transfer switch, he has taken to social media to discuss the deal going through.
On Instagram, he said: “After 13 incredible years at Arsenal, it’s time for me to say my goodbyes. These years have been some of the most memorable of my life, filled with unforgettable moments, challenges, and achievements.
“To my teammates, coaches, and all the staff thank you for your continued support and belief during my time at club.
“With saying that I believe it’s my time to move on and I am excited for what the future holds for me.”
It remains to be seen exactly how much of a role the defender will play from the start for Toronto as the new season approaches.
