Manchester United have made no mistake in targeting Arsenal academy stars as potential options for the future within their team.
The Gunners have seen several of their young and talented players poached by the Red Devils, with a couple already making their Premier League debut.
Chido Obi joined Manchester United from Arsenal as one of the first big deals to come out of the Hale End academy in something of a transfer trend.
Fast forward a few months and United were back at it again, with Ayden Heaven leaving the Gunners in favour of a move to Old Trafford.
While both Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven have been high-profile moves, there was another Arsenal exit in the mix.
That being, of course, the move for Hubert Graczyk, however, it’s now seemingly one that hasn’t worked out.
Manchester United release Hubert Graczyk one year after Arsenal exit
One of the other academy talents to leave Arsenal for Manchester United was goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk.
The 22-year-old joined at the same time as Obi, looking to make an impression in his time at Old Trafford.
However, in that year, it had been tough for Graczyk to make much of an impact on the senior team at the same time as the academy side.
The Polish youth international received four call-ups to the senior squad, but failed to make an appearance over that time.
Meanwhile, due to his place in the team as a third-choice at times through the season, he failed to make many appearances for the under-21s, featuring just three times.
So, less than one year after making the move from Arsenal to Manchester United, Graczyk has been released by the club, as was revealed in the latest retained list.
The shot-stopper now faces a new adventure as he looks to find his next club over the coming summer.

After a tough year, Graczyk is at something of a crossroads as he looks to weigh up development and regular minutes at a club.
It remains to be seen which offers could be on the table as the 22-year-old leaves Manchester United.
His career so far has been largely in the academy system, with four senior appearances made for Slough Town in the National League South during a loan spell in 2023.
