The Arsenal academy continues to produce fantastic talent, be it on the player side or the coaches in the system.

Mikel Arteta is currently reaping the rewards of the Hale End academy, with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly making an impact on the senior side.

However, for those who don’t make it in the first team, there is still plenty they can take from their education with the Gunners into professional football.

The latest former Arsenal star from the academy to make a move in England is Bradley Ibrahim, who could reunite with a familiar face.

While there will be plenty of movement in the market for Arsenal, it is also worth keeping an eye out for those former players who move too.

Among those is Bradley Ibrahim, who came through the ranks at Hale End before moving on to join Hertha Berlin in 2024 on a free transfer.

A versatile player, capable of playing as a defensive midfielder and centre-back, Ibrahim has spent a season on loan at Crawley Town since leaving the Gunners.

Now, following that time in League One, the 20-year-old has made a return in a permanent deal with Plymouth Argyle.

That switch to the Pilgrims could see Ibrahim reunite with Jack Wilshere, who has been linked with the Plymouth managerial job.

The 33-year-old is on the lookout for his first permanent job as a head coach, having got a taste for it as an interim at Norwich City at the end of last season.

It may be a move that could work out for both parties, with Wilshere closing in on the possibility of joining Argyle.

Bradley Ibrahim’s career statistics

Bradley Ibrahim had something of a breakout season for himself in senior football, getting his professional debut while on loan at Crawley Town.

The previous years saw a lack of opportunities at Arsenal and Hertha Berlin, receiving three squad call-ups with the Gunners and just one in Germany.

With 37 appearances for Crawley, Ibrahim proved he was capable of being an option in League One, though ultimately his side missed out on survival in the division by one point.
