The Arsenal academy has had plenty of representation in the senior team this season, with Jimi Gower the latest to be given a chance with the squad.
The young midfielder was called up to the bench as Arsenal beat Fulham, filling in for some absences within the team.
While Mikel Arteta has called upon plenty of Hale End academy stars to help with injuries and absences, they have all earned the right to feature.
Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly are two aces who have taken their chance to keep hold of a position in the Arsenal team.
The duo have often been linked together due to them making their full debut around the same time this season, but they have an unexpected link with Jimi Gower.

Jimi Gower made Arsenal under-18s debut at the same time as Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly
While Gower may be a newer name to some Arsenal fans compared to perhaps Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly, he is linked well with the pair.
In fact, all three made their debut for the under-18s in the exact same game as they made the jump up the youth ranks.

The trio all got a run out as part of the match between Arsenal under-18s and Reading under-18s in April 2021.
The young Gunners ran out as 6-1 winners on the day, with all of Gower, Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly scoring in the game.
It’s a bizarre link that all should feature in such a way for the academy, all at the same time, in the same game.
Now, all of them are looking to make their impact on the Arsenal senior team, with a different road ahead of each of them.

What is ahead for Jimi Gower at Arsenal?
As it stands, Gower has started to make an appearance in the senior squad as he looks to gain some minutes for the side.
The young midfielder has a challenge ahead of him, given the competition from Mikel Merino, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.
The coming exits of Thomas Partey and Jorginho may create some space for Gower to get a few more opportunities.
But that will likely depend on the summer moves that Arsenal look at, with the 20-year-old facing some more potential competition.
Martin Zubimendi has been linked with a transfer to Arsenal, while there are other young options, such as Sverre Nypan and more, who could add further stumbling blocks for him to overcome.
