Arsenal have just launched our new home kit for the upcoming 2022/23 season, and Gabriel Martinelli has a brand new number behind his back.
Adidas have been brilliant for us ever since they took over from Puma as our kit makers. The away and the third kits have been the highlights in recent years, but it’s the famous red and white that makes us who we are.
The brand home kit is out now and up for sale on Arsenal’s official website.

Arsenal launch new 2022/23 home kit
The new Arsenal home kit isn’t drastically different to our current one, but it does feature one major change.
There’s a zig-zag pattern of sorts on the collar, which has divided opinion on the internet. The tagline Adidas have used to promote the kit is ‘Unmistakably Arsenal,’ which is pretty cool, in our opinion.
Arsenal have also launched a brilliant initiative to help out people in need in North London.
The Gunners have revealed that £5 from every purchase of the home kit will be donated to the Arsenal Foundation to help local community projects.
Gabriel Martinelli gets a new number
Gabi Martinelli has been brilliant for Arsenal this season. The young Brazilian has established himself as a regular, and there’s no doubt that he’s going to be a massive player for us.
One issue Arsenal fans have had for about a year now about Martinelli is his shirt number. The 20-year-old dons the number 35, the number that he was given when he joined us from the fourth-tier of Brazilian football back in 2019.
He deserves an upgrade and it looks like Arsenal have finally given him one. Martinelli, according to the numbers displayed on Arsenal Direct, will wear the number 11 shirt at Arsenal, previously worn by the likes of Martin Odegaard, Lucas Torreira, Mesut Ozil and everybody’s favourite left-back, Andre Santos.
