Stan Kroenke is doing everything he possibly can to get on the good side of Arsenal fans. His decision to join the European Super League backfired terribly, so much so, that a billionaire supporter has come forward to attempt a takeover.
It’s not just over the last two months that the Kroenkes have rubbed Arsenal supporters the wrong way. There have been many instances over the years, but one of their decisions last summer is probably the lowest of their lows.

Arsenal sacked 55 people last summer
Arsenal let go of over 50 people due to the impact of the global pandemic last summer. That included non-football staff who’ve been at the club for years, our mascot and even our scouting department which has helped unearth some of the finest talents in world football.
Reports claimed that Edu preferred a data-driven approach and relationship with agents over scouts with a fantastic eye for young talent like Gabriel Martinelli, Matteo Guendouzi and the rest.
Nine months after the Kroenkes decided to do that, it looks like they’ve learnt their lesson. It seems like they know that Edu and agents alone can’t get this club back to where it belongs, and that is why they are undoing what they did last summer.
The Guardian claimed yesterday that Arsenal have appointed a headhunting company to recruit a number of scouts across Europe.
A company named Nolan Partners, who specialise in filling senior roles within sports and entertainment, are tasked with the job, and discussions with a few candidates have reportedly begun already.
This just shows that their decision to let go of people like Francis Cagigao and Steve Morrow was the wrong one, and the Kroenkes’ hunt for new scouts is nothing but an admission of guilt. That, predictably, annoyed a few Arsenal supporters.
Here’s how a few Gooners reacted to the report
