Arsenal star Bukayo Saka started for England today against Germany at Wembley, and the teenager’s performance early in the game has got some supporters talking.
Saka was given the nod after a spectacular performance against the Czech Republic. He fully deserved his opportunity tonight, and the Englishman started the game brilliantly against the mighty Germans.
He was very active for the Three Lions in the opening few minutes of the game, and his runs and dribbling skills really troubled Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger, who was outmuscled and dropped to the floor at one point.
The Arsenal youngster really impressed everyone in the first 30 minutes, including Spurs fan Jermaine Jenas, who had some good things to say about him while on commentary on BBC Sport.

Jenas said: “Whenever Saka goes in there, Rudiger just accepts that he’s not going to go in. He just thinks, ‘I’m going to let him have it there’. He’s at the heart of everything right now.”
The teenager couldn’t really get involved in the second half and Gareth Southgate took him off with a little over 20 minutes left on the clock. The game was in the balance then, but Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane fired the Three Lions to a memorable win in the final 15 minutes of the game.
