Arsenal were left red faced as leaked pictures from social media of Granit Xhaka emerged on the internet yesterday.
In a reported move for £33 million, the pictures which were taken after Xhaka’s Arsenal medical but were leaked before the Gunners could officially confirm the stars move to The Emirates on a 5 year deal from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Now that the Xhaka deal which will likely be announced through official channels this week is completed, the Gunners will be focused on sealing a deal for the 23 year old Juventus hit-man Alvaro Morata. It is reported as a complex deal as Real Madrid have a buy back option in place for £25 million which may see Morata back at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, although sources close to Arsenal Insider believe Morata will be playing in North London next season.
