Arsenal Insider has ranked Arsenal’s highest active goalscorers in the current first-team squad going into the 2024/25 season.
The Gunners are one of the most storied clubs in the history of the Premier League.
With the likes of the Invincibles and Arsene Wenger as manager, there have been many legends at Arsenal throughout the years, such as all-time top goalscorer Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.
Since the move to Emirates Stadium, the top goalscoring honours have gone to the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, who both lit up north London.
Although those legends of the past rank highly on the list of all-time Arsenal goalscorers, the current crop of players is racking up their goal tallies under Mikel Arteta in their quest for glory.

Arsenal’s highest current goalscorers
A lack of goals has been a real problem for both Arteta and Unai Emery during their times at the club. But it appears that the current manager has turned that around, while also making the defence a force to be reckoned with, conceding just 29 goals in the 2023/24 campaign.
While Arsenal look to the transfer window for reinforcements, there is already plenty of talent at Sobha Reality Training Centre.
So, Arsenal Insider has compiled a list of the top goalscorers in the current Arsenal squad across all competitions with the Premier League 2024/24 opening fixtures just a month away.
5. Gabriel Jesus – 19 goals

Since Gabriel Jesus arrived from Man City for £45 million, the Brazilian forward has divided opinion among the Arsenal fan base.
Having said that, his goalscoring record before his injury was looking promising. The integration of Kai Havertz into the team has hindered more goalscoring opportunities for Jesus.
But it remains to be seen what his role will be in 2024/25 with some Arsenal fans calling for Jesus to start in a new position for the opening game against Wolves.
4. Martin Odegaard – 35 goals

The club captain has become a fan favourite during his second stint in N5. Martin Odegaard scored twice when he joined Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid during the 2020/21 season, but ever since he has been instrumental to their attack and its press.
Buoyed by the likes of Declan Rice and Ben White, Odegaard has a licence to roam in attack although he is more of a creator than a finisher.
3. Eddie Nketiah – 38 goals

Another player who splits opinion in north London is Arsenal academy product Eddie Nketiah.
A string of fine performances at centre-forward during Arteta’s reign has led him to utilise Nketiah off the bench many times. However, a start often proves elusive when the Gunners are at full strength.
His hat-trick against Sheffield United in October 2023 showed just what Nketiah can do given the chance, although it’s unlikely he will get that at Arsenal.
2. Gabriel Martinelli – 41 goals

After Gabriel Martinelli joined from Ituano in 2019, the Brazilian forward has become a favourite among Arsenal fans racking up 41 goals in the process.
It was in the 2022/23 season when Martinelli first showed his true worth at Arsenal. On the left of their attack, using Granit Xhaka’s dominance behind him as a guide, the winger scored a total of 15 goals in the league, although he managed just eight one season later.
1. Bukayo Saka – 58 goals

Topping the list of current Arsenal goalscorers is Bukayo Saka with his current tally of 58 goals.
Since being integrated into the team during the Emery era, he has been the one who has remained a constant. Saka has made that right-wing position his own and has become one of the world’s best.
Starboy Saka even managed 20 goals in the 23/24 season along with 14 assists, impressive stuff from the England man. It’s hard to imagine he will not top this list for some time to come.
