Arsenal fans impressed by Myles Lewis-Skelly’s passing vs Atletico Madrid

Arsenal fans were so impressed by Myles Lewis-Skelly’s passing against Atletico Madrid during the first half of the Champions League semi-final.

Lewis-Skelly was outstanding against Fulham at the weekend and subsequently kept his place in the team against Diego Simeone’s team.

On several occasions, Lewis-Skelly showed how good he is at carrying the ball, but against Atletico, it was his passing which most impressed supporters.

In the first 45 minutes, only Declan Rice and William Saliba managed more passes, as Lewis-Skelly completed 39 of his 41 passes, 24 of which came in the opposition’s half.

During the first half, Arsenal fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the Hale End graduate’s performance and had plenty to say about his forward passing.

With Martin Zubimendi struggling over recent weeks, it was so good to have the teenager able to replace him in the middle of the park.

Last season in the competition, the youngster showed incredible responsibility against Real Madrid and did the same again on Tuesday evening.
