Arsenal fans were left far from impressed with their forward options after transfer target Alexander Isak scored another goal against the side in the EFL Cup.
The Gunners have been on the search for a clinical striker over the past few transfer windows, but have struggled to find the right option.
Amongst those linked has been Alexander Isak, with the Swedish forward showing exactly what he is capable of with Newcastle in the Premier League.
Arsenal were handed a chance to view the transfer target up close in the EFL Cup, but were left even more frustrated by his presence.

Alexander Isak shows Arsenal what they missed with transfer blow
Arsenal have been linked with a transfer for Alexander Isak over the past few transfer windows, but they haven’t quite sealed a deal.
A move has been touted in the January market, but remains extremely unlikely due to a multitude of reasons.
The main one, however, surrounds Newcastle placing a £150million price tag on Isak, making it tough to get a deal done.
As a result, Arsenal may have been made to pay for their lack of early movement for the striker, now for more reasons than one.
Not only do the Gunners not have him in their ranks, but he has since impacted the side in their own season.
Featuring in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg, Isak went on to show his clinical best as he scored against Arsenal to give his side the lead.
That, in itself, has left Arsenal fans fuming, mainly with Mikel Arteta over a lack of a move for the striker.

Arsenal fans react to Alexander Isak display
Taking to social media, Arsenal supporters vented their frustration at the inability to sign Isak for the team earlier on.
Speaking on X, one fan said: “Anyone that thinks we don’t need a striker, look at Martinelli missing then Isak scoring.”
Another added: “Can someone explain why we didn’t sign Isak when we had the chance?!”
“Imagine the pain of watching Isak while our striker is Kai Havertz,” one fan said, continuing, “Arteta Out.”
Another went on to say: “Criminal that we didn’t sign Isak. This don tried to convince us that Kai is a striker.”
Fans continued to praise Isak, with: “That’s the difference. Isak is balling.” and “Omg we’re down by a goal Isak again, Arteta definitely running out of ideas ATM.”
It shows the frustration that the perfect target appears to be there, but has been missed out on in previous windows.
Whether Arsenal can now go and sign Isak remains uncertain and even more unlikely as matches pass.
