Arsenal faced Nottingham Forest in the latest test of their Premier League title credentials.
Mikel Arteta’s side suffered an early injury blow as Martin Odegaard went off injured with what looked like a recurrence of a shoulder problem that troubled the skipper before the international break.
Arsenal fans were impressed with Eberechi Eze and his flair in the opening exchanges of the match as he showed some beautiful moments of skill on the left flank.
Martin Zubimendi opened the scoring with a wonderful volley midway through the first half but it is Noni Madueke that has really got the supporters talking.

Arsenal fans now think Noni Madueke was a bargain transfer from Chelsea
There were a lot of question marks surrounding the £52m transfer of Madueke from Premier League rivals Chelsea, however the England international is answering those emphatically.
The winger was exceptional during the first half with his direct dribbling and created a number of openings for the Gunners. Fans have taken to X to give their view on his performance.
One Arsenal fan wrote: “I am so confused. is this the same Madueke Chelsea sold them. cause he looks better than Saka.”
Another Arsenal fan wrote: “Madueke, another better signing than Wirtz…” Whilst comparisons have also been made with Gabriel Martinelli. One supporter wrote: “Madueke is more Brazilian than Martinelli.”
Bukayo Saka is absent for the Gunners with injury however, one fan believes he now has competition for his place, they wrote: “Madueke is comp for Saka not Cover.”
Noni Madueke impressing for Arsenal and England with his direct style of play
Arsenal have longed for a player that has something different in attack and can take players on at will to open up space for others.
Darren Bent praised Madueke for his performances for England after the 23-year-old produced a goal and an assist during the international break.
He has now taken that form into the first half for the Arteta’s side as he gave Forest defender Morato a torrid time with his pace and trickery.
All that is missing now for Madueke is a goal involvement for Arsenal, although it was his dangerous corner that led to Zubimendi’s stunning opening goal.
