Harry Kane clearly hasn’t learned from Jude Bellingham’s remontada comment, and Arsenal fans find it hilarious.
Kane returned to the Emirates on matchday five of the Champions League, hoping to extend his impressive record against Arsenal.
Instead, the striker left disappointed, so much so, that he previewed a rematch between the two clubs in the later, more decisive stages of the competition.
The Tottenham legend said, “I’m sure we’ll see them Arsenal again in the latter stages of the competition, so we look forward to that.”
Arsenal fans weren’t going to let Kane leave the Emirates on that note after Arsenal’s 3-1 victory, taunting the England captain on social media, which is when Bellingham’s name cropped up.
Arsenal have rattled Bayern Munich!

After Arsenal beat Real Madrid 3-0 in the 2024/25 Champions League quarter-final first-leg, Bellingham memorably mentioned a ‘remontada’.
Real Madrid set the scene for the ultimate comeback (remontada), but Arsenal went and won 2-1 at the Bernabeu, and now, fans have formed a comparison between last season’s comments and Kane’s post-match reaction.
“Why’s everyone tryna run the remontada gimmick?,” an Arsenal fan asked on X, and plenty of similar comments followed.
Another said, “Loolll they’re running the remontada chat like Madrid did last season.”
“In other words, they say “Remontada” in German. Didn’t we hear the same phrase last season?” A fellow X user added.
Arsenal fans on the social media platform couldn’t stop taunting Kane about the idea of a ‘remontada’.

One instructed the striker to, “Take your L and go home ask Real Madrid what happened talking like this last season.”
Another advised Kane to talk to Bellingham, “Ask the last person to ask for remontada.”
Arsenal fans might think it’s already Christmas, being able to laugh at Tottenham after the North London Derby win, followed by watching Kane leave the Emirates dejected.
Supporters couldn’t resist connecting Kane to his Spurs past.
“Would be proper Spursy if we meet Kane in the final and beat him after this,” a fan joked.
Another branded the 32-year-old ‘Spursy’, “Always welcome to come back and lose again, good ol’ Spursy Harry.”
Harry Kane was marshalled by Arsenal
It’s no surprise that the England captain wants a rematch, as Kane was humiliated by William Saliba.

The Arsenal centre-back, alongside Cristhian Mosquera, had a sensational game, limiting Kane to just 30 touches, the fewest of any player to complete 90 minutes.
The Gunners did tremendously well to keep Kane quiet, as he’s already scored 24 goals in all competitions in 2025/26.
It was another occasion of leaving the Emirates feeling unsatisfied for the Spurs icon, who has his eyes fixed on another meeting with Mikel Arteta’s side.
