Arsenal fans all believe that Bukayo Saka deserves much more credit for his dribbling following his first-half display against Liverpool.

During the first 45 minutes at the Emirates Stadium, the England international made Milos Kerkez’s life a misery down Liverpool’s left-hand side.

A constant feature of the first half was Saka causing the Reds all sorts of issues by running at Alexis Mac Allister and Kerkez, beating them on several occasions.

Arsenal supporters have now taken to social media to praise the 24-year-old for all the issues he caused the Reds’ back line.

Arsenal fans were so impressed by Bukayo Saka’s dribbling against Liverpool during the first half.

The winger often gets criticised for not taking on his full-back enough, but that certainly wasn’t the case against Liverpool.

As Gary Neville said, “Kerkez is fighting for his life” during the first half, and he just couldn’t contain Arsenal’s star attacker.

Saka, who is expected to sign a new Arsenal contract, was by far the Gunners’ most threatening player against a well-organised Arne Slot team.

During the match, Arsenal fans have spoken about how many have been proven so wrong by Saka’s ability to dribble with the ball.

One fan said: “People will look you in the face and tell you Saka doesn’t dribble because he doesn’t do fancy moves, give him your full back first.”

What would you do at half-time if you were Mikel Arteta?

“Saka saw all the messages about him not being a good dribbler, and he started showing off,” added another.

A third fan added: “Since when does Saka dribble like that? Madueke must’ve straight-up made him kick into gear in training.”

There was yet more praise for the winger: “Saka has been taking dribbling lessons from Trossard. He’s absolutely done Kerkez in there.”

Finally, another fan simply said: “Saka’s been working with Madueke on his dribbling, it seems…”

Mikel Arteta will hope that in the second half, Saka can add end product to his performance and to help Arsenal get over the line.

Gary Neville hails Bukayo Saka’s dribbling during Arsenal vs Liverpool

Neville also hails Saka’s dribbling, with one moment in the match where he skinned Mac Allister and almost set up Martin Zubimendi.

How good is that by Saka? They’re on the ropes here a little bit, the away side,” the former Premier League defender said on Sky Sports.

What a joy. From the moment he came into the Arsenal team to this moment here, ripping full-backs to shreds. That’s brutal. It would’ve been a beautiful goal.
