Arsenal have just beaten Brighton and Hove Albion 1-0 in the Premier League.
A solitary Bukayo Saka goal in the first half proved to be enough for the Gunners to take all three points back to the Emirates Stadium in what was a hard-fought game.
Manchester City have dropped points in their game against Nottingham Forest, so the Gunners are now seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table, having played a game more.
Here are our player ratings.
Who was Arsenal’s most disappointing player despite the 1-0 win vs Brighton?
Arsenal player ratings vs Brighton and Hove Albion
David Raya: 6/10
David Raya had a really poor start to the game. He almost gifted Brighton the opening goal and was lucky to get away with it. He made a good save in the second half and dealt with everything else the Seagulls threw at him.
Jurrien Timber: 6/10
Yet another assist for Jurrien Timber, and he is slowly returning to the level he showed earlier in the season. Still a long way to go, though.
Cristhian Mosquera: 3/10
Cristhian Mosquera had been near-flawless this season, but he had a very difficult game at the Amex. The Spaniard got a yellow card and didn’t look comfortable at all against Georginio Rutter. He was replaced in the second half after Yankuba Minteh got past him like he wasn’t there.

Gabriel Magalhaes: 8.5/10
The leader at the back, Gabriel Magalhaes saved Arsenal from Raya’s error by heading away Carlos Baleba’s chip. The Brazilian clearly missed William Saliba at the back and had to do a lot of defensive work on his own.
Piero Hincapie: 9/10
Another solid performance from Piero Hincapie. The Ecuadorian was calm on the ball, aggressive without it and did what he had to do without doing anything spectacular. He was moved to an unusual right-centre-half role later in the game and did well there too. For us, Arsenal’s best player against Brighton.
Martin Zubimendi: 6/10
Martin Zubimendi didn’t have the usual control that he does in games, but he wasn’t awful either. But to go to the next level, he needs to do more when he has the ball at his feet.
Declan Rice: 6.5/10
A strange performance from Declan Rice. The Englishman didn’t look like he was at his best and made what could have been a huge error leading to a goal. Thankfully, he ran back and made up for it by winning the ball back.

Eberechi Eze: 5.5/10
Eberechi Eze had a great start to the game. The former Crystal Palace star made a couple of excellent passes, but he became less and less involved as the game went on.
Bukayo Saka: 7/10
Bukayo Saka made his 300th appearance for Arsenal on Wednesday night and marked it with a goal. He was fortunate that the ball went in, but they all count. Arsenal should have got him on the ball more.
Viktor Gyokeres: 1/10
A really poor return to the Amex for Viktor Gyokeres. The Swede has been in good form lately, but he had a disappointing game up top. He did nothing with the ball and his link-up play was not great either. He was rightfully replaced just before the hour mark.
Was this Viktor Gyokeres’ worst performance in an Arsenal shirt?
Gabriel Martinelli: 1/10
Gabriel Martinelli had a terrible game as well. He failed to get on the end of a cross from Saka early on and was then lucky not to concede a penalty after a silly challenge just before the break.
Substitutes
Kai Havertz: 5/10
Kai Havertz worked hard when he came on and even had two big opportunities to score. However, his first shot was blocked well by Baleba, and his second was saved late in normal time.
Leandro Trossard: 2/10
Leandro Trossard seemed to try too hard against his former club as the home fans booed him. Nothing he tried worked, so much so that one of his shots from inside the box went out for a throw-in.
Christian Norgaard: 5/10
Christian Norgaard replaced Zubimendi late on and didn’t make any mistakes.
