Arsenal picked up a dramatic 4-2 win against Leicester City at the Emirates.
The Gunners were desperate to get back to winning ways after their draw against Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s side dropping points at Newcastle United gave Mikel Arteta’s men more incentive to get the job done against the Foxes.
Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for the Gunners in the 20th minute before Leandro Trossard doubled that lead in first-half stoppage time. However, two second-half goals from James Justin helped the Foxes level the score.
Then, Trossard forced an own goal from Wilfred Ndidi in the 94th minute, before Kai Havertz added another in the 99th minute to seal the game.

Arsenal player ratings vs Leicester City
David Raya: 6/10
Raya had absolutely nothing to do in the first half but he conceded just over a minute after the break. He conceded another after the hour mark, but he had no chance with either goal.
Jurrien Timber: 8/10
Timber continued at right-back after Ben White was left out of the Arsenal squad due to a groin injury. The Dutchman assisted Gabriel Martinelli’s goal and had a solid game.
William Saliba: 6.5/10
Saliba too had a comfortable first half, but his unintentional foul on Jamie Vardy earned him a yellow card right after the break. The resulting free-kick led to Leicester’s goal.
Gabriel Magalhaes: 7/10
Gabriel had a solid game at the back. He organised his defence well, helped everyone around him and didn’t put a foot wrong. He could’ve scored too in the 52nd minute but was denied with a good save. Like Raya, he couldn’t do much with either goal.
Riccardo Calafiori: 8/10
We’re really falling in love with Calafiori. The Italian is aggressive with his defending, but the way he charges forward in attack is a joy to watch. His passing was impressive and he seems to be building up a solid partnership with Martinelli on the left side too. Promising signs.

Thomas Partey: 7.5/10
Partey started as a number six again and he was very good. He got on the ball regularly, progressed play forward and should be really happy with his display.
Declan Rice: 7.5/10
Rice worked really hard once again in his box-to-box midfield role. He was all over the pitch, got on the ball well and switched play nicely. Solid performance.
Bukayo Saka: 8/10
Saka was very active on the right flank and even got into a few promising positions. He did everything right but sadly failed to score a goal, which was a shame.
Kai Havertz: 8/10
Havertz worked really hard for Arsenal yet again. He switched positions with Trossard regularly, helped all the players around him in attack and even came close to scoring on a couple of occasions. He got his goal in the end thanks to some help from Gabriel Jesus.
Gabriel Martinelli: 9/10
Martinelli was the star of the show against Leicester, especially in the first half. The Brazilian scored a goal, picked up an assist and was a big threat on the left flank. His best performance of the season.

Leandro Trossard: 7.5/10
Trossard had a mixed game. He scored in the first half, hit the post in the second and got a huge chance after a goalkeeping error – Mads Hermansen made amends with a stunning save. But, Trossard kept going and his pass back into the danger area from a corner forced Ndidi’s own goal.
Raheem Sterling: 5.5/10
Sterling replaced Martinelli in the second half and we think that was a mistake. The Brazilian was looking really good, but after he left the pitch, Arsenal lacked the same kind of threat on the left flank.
Ethan Nwaneri: 8.5/10
Arteta threw Nwaneri onto the pitch in the 83rd minute and the teenager almost scored a stunner with his first action. He looked really bright against the Foxes and we’re very excited to see more of him in the coming weeks.
Gabriel Jesus: 7/10
Jesus was only on the pitch for a few minutes but he got a big chance late in the game. The goalkeeper saved his shot, but Havertz scored from the rebound to seal the game.
