Arsenal host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
The newly promoted side secured all three points on their return to the Premier League earlier this week, beating Everton 1-0 at a raucous Elland Road.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s team beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in their first match of the new campaign, with Riccardo Calafiori’s 13th-minute header enough to separate the two sides.
Despite claiming all three points in the north-west, the Gunners were far from their best, and Arteta will hope to see a much-improved performance this weekend.

Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Leeds United
Kai Havertz sustained a knee injury earlier this week, which will see him miss the clash against the Yorkshire outfit.
Meanwhile, Ben White is set to be unavailable for the encounter with Daniel Farke’s side.
Christian Norgaard missed the trip to Old Trafford, although it’s not clear what his fitness status is now.
Aside from these absentees, Arteta should have almost the entirety of his squad to select from on Saturday.
Jurrien Timber will likely come in for White, while Calafiori ought to retain his place at left-back after impressing against the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, Arteta should roll out the same midfield in an attempt to see the trio gel together.
Viktor Gyokeres is almost guaranteed to start up front with Havertz out, with Bukayo Saka starting on the right.
On the left wing, Arteta has a decision to make, with Gabriel Martinelli struggling against United and new signing Noni Madueke waiting in the wings.
The former Chelsea star should earn his full debut.
Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Leeds: Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Gyokeres, Madueke.

Noni Madueke has to be trialled on the left wing vs Leeds
Martinelli was peripheral against United, managing fewer touches than any other starter in Arsenal’s team on the day, including David Raya.
While Madueke didn’t make a significant impact off the bench as the Gunners looked to hold on to their lead, he is less of a known quantity and is worth experimenting with off the left.
| Noni Madueke’s Premier League Statistics 2024/25 | |
| Appearances | 32 |
| Goals | 7 |
| Assists | 3 |
| Shots per 90 | 3.54 |
| Expected Goals per 90 | 0.42 |
| Key Passes per 90 | 1.42 |
| Expected Assists per 90 | 0.19 |
Arteta knows what he’s going to get from Martinelli, and the upside simply isn’t there.
Meanwhile, he could unlock a hidden gem in Madueke playing on the left, and thus, it is worth starting him there until Eberechi Eze is integrated into the side.
