Arsenal picked up another win in the Champions League, this time against Club Brugge.
The Gunners were without several key players due to fitness troubles, but that didn’t stop them from scoring three past the Belgian side and keeping a clean sheet in the process.
Many Arsenal players caught the eye on Wednesday night. Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli were outstanding, Martin Zubimendi ran the show, and Gabriel Jesus also looked sharp when he came on.
But it’s not all positive for Mikel Arteta as one player was really poor against Brugge – Viktor Gyokeres.
If you could swap Viktor Gyokeres for Benjamin Sesko right now, would you? If so, why?
Viktor Gyokeres was the worst player on the pitch during Club Brugge vs Arsenal
It’s hard to complain after a 3-0 win, but Gyokeres’ performance has become a big worry for Arsenal fans.
The Swede was handed his first start since the game against Burnley at the beginning of November, and he would’ve wanted to make his mark.
However, Gyokeres had his worst game in an Arsenal shirt in Belgium.
The Swede looked lost more often than not, his movement inside the box was not great, and he just never seemed like a big threat.
In his 62 minutes on the pitch, Gyokeres missed two big chances, had just one shot on target, and was rightly replaced.
Sofascore gave the former Sporting CP man a rating of 5.9, which is the lowest of the 22 starters and 10 substitutes who played in the game on Wednesday night.
That is just not good enough.

What Gabriel Jesus did vs Club Brugge should embarrass Viktor Gyokeres
When Gyokeres came off in the 62nd minute, Jesus replaced him.
The Brazil international had been out of action since January this year. It was his first appearance in 11 months, yet he looked really sharp.
Jesus looked like a much bigger threat than Gyokeres. He constantly troubled the Brugge backline and even unleashed three shots – one of which struck the crossbar.
How many goals will Gabriel Jesus score from now until the end of the season? Will he outscore Viktor Gyokeres?
The fact that the former Palmeiras striker looked better than Gyokeres in his first appearance in nearly a year should be embarrassing for the Swede.
He needs to pull his socks up in the coming games. If not, Jesus will leapfrog him in Arteta’s pecking order.
