Everybody is talking about the upcoming Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Gunners are now just one win away from winning Europe’s biggest prize, but standing between them and the trophy are the defending champions.
The last time Arsenal were at this stage of the competition was 20 years ago, when Arsene Wenger was at the helm.
Now, the Frenchman has given some insight into PSG, which suggests that David Raya could be Arsenal’s most important player.
Arsenal fans…if David Raya isn’t Arsenal’s best Premier League goalkeeper ever, then who is?
Arsene Wenger suggests David Raya will have a huge role to play in Arsenal vs PSG Champions League final
PSG are among the best teams in the world.
Luis Enrique has assembled an incredible group of players who have shown over the last 12 months that they can destroy most teams in world football.
Wenger, who is one of the best attacking coaches in the history of the game, has been impressed by the Parisiens and the way they go forward.
One trait that has caught the legendary Frenchman’s eye is how every PSG attacker unleashes an unstoppable strike at goal when they find themselves in a one-on-one position.

Wenger said on BeIN Sports during their broadcast: “Overall, I would outline the quality of PSG, who have become a really complete team with great cohesion.
“They also have another extraordinary quality, and that is that any striker in this team, in a one-versus-one, finishes with a shot on goal, and it’s unstoppable.
“They make sure the goalkeeper has to make a save, and that’s a formidable quality.”
That clearly suggests that Raya will be Arsenal’s most important player because he will need to find a way to stop those unstoppable shots if the Gunners want to win the Champions League.
David Raya says he will go ‘bald’ if Arsenal win the Premier League. What will you do?
David Raya could be Arsenal’s difference-maker
There’s almost no chance that the final between Arsenal and PSG will be a 5-4 like the French club’s semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich.
It will likely be a tight game between the two sides, which means every chance will be of the highest importance.
For that reason, Arsenal will need to make sure that their defence can contain PSG’s high-flying attackers, but it may not be enough.
That is when Raya will need to step up and become the hero for Arsenal. Based on what we have seen all season, we think he is more than capable of doing it in Budapest.
