Arsenal have been hit by a wave of injuries and suspensions that have impacted them at an incredibly difficult time.
The Gunners went into their clash with Liverpool without most of their defensive options as William Saliba was suspended, while Riccardo Calafiori picked up an injury in midweek.
Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney were both out injured, while Jurrien Timber was a doubt but made his way back into the team.
The forward line had Bukayo Saka as a doubt, though he also managed to recover in time from a hamstring issue picked up on international duty.
Those concerns aren’t helped by the latest issues, which has appeared to impact Arsenal defenders Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber.

Gabriel Magalhaes injury concern
The latest issue for Arsenal to deal with is an injury to Gabriel Magalhaes, who went down several times against Liverpool.
The Brazilian went to the floor clutching his left knee and requiring treatment before he was eventually replaced by Jakub Kiwior.
It came as a double blow to the make-shift defence, who were already without the players they wanted in key positions.
Jurrien Timber injury blow
Gabriel wasn’t the only defensive change in the end, as Timber went to the ground on two occasions, seemingly suffering from a muscular problem.
The Netherlands international was also replaced later on, with Myles Lewis-Skelly taking his place at left-back.

Arsenal fans react to latest injury troubles
Arsenal fans were left absolutely devastated by the latest injury concerns, taking to social media to give their verdict.
“I feel sick man Gabriel can’t continue,” one supporter said, while another added “No Saliba, Gabriel, or Odegaard. Against Liverpool. This is an all-timer if we win, in my book.”
There were some concerns over the injury record of the side, one fan said: “Gabriel injured in the worst time: he is never injured. This team is cursed.”
One other added: “Now you gonna know how important Gabriel is when he’s away.”
On Timber, one fan believed a goal wouldn’t have happened if he was on the pitch, claiming: “Injuries is slowly killing our season, with timber there salah doesn’t score.”
It remains to be seen if either will be fit for the upcoming trip to Newcastle in the following week, but the injuries piling up could impact the Premier League title race.
