Tierney made his competitive Arsenal debut as they beat Nottingham Forest 5-0 in the EFL Cup in September 2019. Emery and, later, Mikel Arteta firmly established the Hoops hero as their No1 left-back. But a wealth of injuries restricted his role before Tierney fell out of favour.
