Leeds United manager Daniel Farke spoke honestly about Arsenal after watching his side lose 4-0 to the Gunners.
Leeds were on a five-game unbeaten streak at Elland Road before Mikel Arteta’s side visited.
By full-time, the hosts’ record was brought to a screeching halt, as Arsenal headed back to North London with three points and a significant boost to their goal difference.
It was a history-worthy win for Arsenal at Leeds, so much so that even the opposition applauded the Premier League leaders’ performance.

Daniel Farke praised Arsenal after Leeds United thrashing
After the woeful defeat to Manchester United last time out in the Premier League, Arsenal responded perfectly on matchday 24.
The Gunners went from being taunted by Amad Diallo to being applauded by Daniel Farke, as the Leeds manager realised why Arsenal are top of the table in both England and Europe.
Speaking to the media after watching his side lose 4-0 at home, Farke had nothing but admiration for Arteta’s squad.
“There are reasons why this team is sitting on top of the table in the Premier League, why this team is the best team currently in Europe, eight wins out of eight Champions League games.
“Of course, you need a perfect day in order to give yourself a chance and also a bit of luck that this side is perhaps not there with their best day and not super effective.”
Man United had their perfect day last week, but Leeds were unable to follow their rivals, seeing Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table restored to seven points ahead of Manchester City’s visit to Tottenham.
Arsenal squad might change their plans after Leeds win
Once again, Arsenal have presented Spurs with a debate over whether beating Man City would be beneficial.
The Gunners got the job done before their title rivals, City and Aston Villa, play on Sunday, which might just tempt Arteta’s side to change how they usually act when other clubs are in action.
Arsenal fans, be honest. Will you support Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City?
Declan Rice stated that most of the Arsenal squad don’t watch Man City’s games, however, the City and Spurs clash is set up for the Gunners’ viewing.
Rice insisted that he’s not bothered about watching Sunday’s match, but from the outside, it’s impossible to deny the temptation.
Arsenal will surely want to take a peek at what their North London rivals can produce against City, in a match that could just become a reference point at the end of the season.
