Mosquera has proven to be a bargain signing for Arsenal at just £13 million, and once again, he showed why he is so highly rated.

The Gunners will have been disappointed only to have taken a point from the G-Tech Stadium, but without Mosquera, it could have been even worse.

Cristhian Mosquera was really solid during Brentford vs Arsenal

Cristhian Mosquera once again stood up and made himself counted for Arsenal, playing a key role in securing a point in West London.

The Spanish youth international produced several key moments against the Bees, which got them out of jail on several occasions.

Most notably, the defender produced an incredible tackle on Igor Thiago in the 88th minute to deny the striker a one-on-one chance with David Raya.

Sofascore gave him a rating of just 6.9, but he did produce 13 defensive contributions, including winning six of his 11 duels.

More often than not, the 21-year-old has been brilliant when called upon for the Gunners, and away at Brentford, he was certainly one of the team’s best performers.

Andrea Berta did a brilliant job uncovering Mosquera, and he has proven to be a crucial addition to this Arsenal squad.

At just 21, the centre-back still has much to improve on, but he is learning alongside two of the best centre-back defenders in Europe at Arsenal.

In the near future, he will certainly have his eye on rivalling either Gabriel Magalhaes or Saliba for their starting spot – that’s how good he is.
