Arsenal picked up a brilliant 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, and Ethan Nwaneri produced an excellent cameo.
The Gunners were under pressure going into the game at the Emirates Stadium. They were winless in their last four games and there was very little margin for error.
Arsenal started the game brilliantly. Bukayo Saka gave them the lead in the 15th minute before Thomas Partey doubled the lead with a screamer in the second half.
Nwaneri came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute and then found the net just four minutes later.
Ethan Nwaneri has sent a ‘bad message’ to Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus
Nwaneri is arguably the most talented young player of his age in England.
The teenager has already shown his class in the famous red and white. Before the game against Forest, he had scored thrice in two starts in the EFL Cup.
Martin Odegaard ran the show for Arsenal for as long as he was on the pitch, and Mikel Arteta decided to take him off in the 82nd minute.
Nwaneri replaced him and the teenager found the net after just four minutes. He passed the ball into the back of the net after Raheem Sterling found him in the box.
Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit watched Nwaneri’s cameo and seemed really impressed.
He feels that the youngster has sent a ‘bad message’ to Gabriel Jesus with his performance because he did more in a few minutes than the Brazilian managed all game.
Petit said on Premier League Productions (5:06 pm): “It sends a bad message to Gabriel Jesus, who was on the pitch for at least an hour. After ten minutes, Nwaneri scored a goal.
“He is a promising young guy with a bright future, and I hope he gets more time to play.”

Mikel Arteta needs to abandon one transfer pursuit now
The January transfer window is just over a month away, and Arsenal fans are hoping that their side will be active on the market.
The Gunners could do with reinforcements, especially in their attack. They have been linked with quite a few names already, including one from Real Madrid.
Arda Guler is a target for Arsenal, but Nwaneri’s cameo against Nottingham Forest on Saturday proves that the North Londoners don’t need the Real Madrid man.
Odegaard will be a regular starter and Nwaneri is more than good enough to play the backup role. Arsenal don’t need anyone else in that position.
