Arsenal linked with Arda Guler transfer switch
Arsenal have been linked with a surprise switch for Real Madrid wonderkid Arda Guler ahead of the January transfer window.
The Gunners have struggled with availability in the attacking playmaker role after an injury to Martin Odegaard and the exits of Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe.
With that in mind, Sport reports that Mikel Arteta is eyeing a potential switch for Guler to fulfil that position.

The 19-year-old has struggled since swapping Turkey for Spain, making just eight starts under Carlo Ancelotti.
Should Arsenal secure a switch, it may repeat the trick they used to land Odegaard by making him an important player.

Arsenal long-term target can help seal Nico Williams deal
Arsenal Insider sources confirm that Arsenal are showing interest in Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams ahead of a potential move.
The Spain international has a £50million release clause that can be triggered, though a move in January seems highly unlikely – resulting in a summer move being possible.
It means Williams is one to keep an eye on ahead of next summer, though there is also interest elsewhere in Europe.

Barcelona were linked as a possible destination, however a long-term Arsenal target in Raphinha could stop any move happening.
The Brazilian’s form could prevent any switch going through, having impressed on several occasions this season.

Arsenal handed fresh Viktor Gyokeres verdict
Another forward heavily linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium is Viktor Gyokeres, the Sporting CP striker who continues to score goals aplenty on every possible stage.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal will launch a move for the Swedish international, though his latest scoring feat has put him in the news once again.
Gyokeres bagged four goals for Sweden in their Nations League game with Azerbaijan, leading to yet more praise for being the first player to score that many in a single game for the nation in seven years.

After the game, he said to Sportbladet: “It feels very good. It was nice to score some goals today and win the match. It’s fun and I enjoy it.”
While teammate Emil Forsberg added: “He is incredible, in a goal team like no other. He is constantly developing and doing what he is good at.”
