Plenty of Arsenal stars managed to come out of Wednesday night’s win over Monaco with some credit, with a commanding performance once again in the Champions League.
The Gunners put three goals past their French opposition at the Emirates Stadium, putting them one step closer to a top-eight finish in the league phase.
A Bukayo Saka double and a Thilo Kehrer own-goal sealed the deal for Arsenal, beating one of their nearest competitors for a space in the round of 16.
While there were plenty of impressive performances to come out of it, including Myles Lewis-Skelly stunning Arsenal fans, there was one star who failed to capitalise on his chance.

Gabriel Jesus fails to capitalise on Arsenal chance vs Monaco
A player under pressure, Gabriel Jesus has struggled to find the back of the net on a regular occasion for Arsenal as of late.
The forward has never been a prolific goal scorer, but the ability to pop up with a strike or two is an important role for Arsenal.
While he has hardly had a run of games to string together momentum, be it due to form or injuries, he has simply struggled.
He did so again in Arsenal’s win over Monaco, which offered plenty of chances to fire himself back with some momentum.
In two separate chances, Jesus was denied a goal by the goalkeeper and defenders of the opposition, though he arguably should’ve put one of them away.
Even despite his assist for Bukayo Saka, the Brazilian is simply struggling, something that won’t quieten down the growing rumours over his future.

Gabriel Jesus transfer rumours will only persist
Gabriel Jesus has been linked with an Arsenal transfer exit in recent weeks and while Mikel Arteta has shut them down, the forward is doing little to help stop questions over his future.
The Brazilian joined and changed the momentum at the club to become one of the best clubs in the whole Premier League.
His versatility and pure quality helped drag Arsenal into a title race, one that wasn’t expected, with his winning mentality also helping the side.
Jesus helped set the standard and gave an early glimpse of the Gunners as we know them today.
However, his decline in influence and quality only brings about talks of a move elsewhere in the January transfer window.
