There are just five games left in the Premier League this season, and Arsenal begin that run with a clash against Newcastle United.
The Gunners are level on points as well as goal difference with Manchester City, but it is Pep Guardiola’s side that are on top of the table thanks to goals scored.
Every game now is a cup final for the two sides, and they will do everything they possibly can to be victorious in each of their last five fixtures.
A few popular pundits, including Ian Wright, have revealed their predictions for the game.
💭 Predict Arsenal and Man City’s final five results…
Ian Wright, Gary Neville and Roy Keane predict Arsenal vs Newcastle United result
Arsenal haven’t always found it easy against Newcastle United.
The Gunners have lost four of their last seven games against the Magpies, but Mikel Arteta got the three points against Eddie Howe in each of his last two league meetings.
That makes the clash on Saturday a great watch, and Arsenal will go into the game as favourites because Newcastle have lost their last four games in all competitions.
On the Stick to Football podcast, Roy Keane quickly claimed that the game will end 1-1.
Gary Neville then backed a narrow win for the Gunners, but Ian Wright went big. That led to a bit of a disagreement between the two pundits.

Here’s how their conversation went:
Roy Keane: “1-1 written all over it.”
Ian Wright: “Newcastle are all over the place.”
Gary Neville: “2-1 Arsenal.”
Ian Wright: “Either 2-0 or 3-0.”
Gary Neville: “I don’t think you’ve got that in you, Wrighty.”
Ian Wright: “I think we have. 3-0. We need that kind of result.”
What will the score be when Arsenal take on Newcastle United?
Arsenal need to be careful about Newcastle despite their form
Wright is right, Newcastle really are all over the place.
The Toon are currently 14th in the Premier League table and have won just one of their last seven games in all competitions.
On paper, Arsenal should batter such a side when they are going for the Premier League title, and we really hope that will happen.
However, Newcastle can still be very dangerous, so nobody at the Emirates can afford not to take the clash on Saturday seriously.
It will be interesting to see how the game will pan out, but if Arsenal are at their best, Wright’s prediction could come true.
