Arsenal got over the line against West Ham by the narrowest of margins as a late, late VAR decision went in their favour to send the Gunners five points clear of Man City.
In one of the biggest moments of the entire season, Callum Wilson appeared to have given West Ham a crucial point and dented Arsenal’s title hopes in doing so.
However, VAR took a long look at the replays before sending Chris Kavanagh to the screen. Kavanagh then changed his mind, sparking jubilant scenes in the away end and misery for the Hammers.
The decision is going to be a major talking point and speaking on the decision, former Man United midfielder Owen Hargreaves had his say.

Owen Hargreaves backs Chris Kavanagh over Arsenal and West Ham VAR call
This really was the season in one call. This time, it went in Arsenal’s favour and you have to say, this one decision may have won them the title.
While it was controversial, Pablo did have his arm right across David Raya and in the end, that was enough for the officials to overturn it.
Indeed, Owen Hargreaves believes that in the end, the right call was made.
“What a finish from Callum Wilson! This strike is incredible,” Hargreaves said for Premier League Productions.
“We’ve spoken about set-pieces all this season, look at all the bodies on David Raya! I feel sorry for West Ham but the ‘keeper is having his arm pulled down, he can’t get up and claim the ball.”
For Arsenal to get a reward from a set-piece is a microcosm of their season overall.
For all the pushing and barging that the Gunners do to create space on set-plays, they’ve needed a decision to go for them where their exact tactic has worked against them.
This is a fortunate call for Arsenal. Absolutely no doubt about it.
But, Gunners fans will care little and it now looks like, finally, the title might be wrapped up.
