Crystal Palace will head to N5 for the second time this season as Arsenal host the Eagles in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

A win on Tuesday night will send Arsenal to the Carabao Cup semi-finals, where Chelsea await.

First, there’s a battle to be had under the lights against Crystal Palace, who have been incredibly impressive under Oliver Glasner.

While Arsenal know the threat Palace possess, they might have a slight upper hand on the night, as Marc Guehi gave away some of the Eagles’ plans for the fixture.

Arsenal will face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final if they beat Crystal Palace, sum up the draw in two words.

Marc Guehi has revealed Crystal Palace’s game plan against Arsenal

Palace will be seeking redemption, as their fans endured a deeply disappointing trip to Yorkshire last time out, watching their club lose 4-1 to Leeds United.

Speaking to Crystal Palace’s official website after Palace’s defeat, Guehi previewed the Carabao Cup clash at the Emirates.

“We will play a team [Arsenal] who are better than these guys [Leeds] at set pieces, so if we can defend better and contain them, hopefully in our low block, and spring a counter-attack, then it will be good for us.

“But again, it is another tough game, so we have to learn quickly and move on.”

Guehi pinpointed where Palace plan to limit Arsenal, knowing the threat the Gunners can pose.

Glasner knows how dangerous Arsenal’s attack is, but on Tuesday night, any player might fancy themselves to score for one reason.

Nicolas Jover will be licking his lips ahead of facing Crystal Palace

Arsenal’s eyes would’ve lit up after watching Palace’s defeat to Leeds.

The reason? The Eagles conceded four goals from set play scenarios.

It’s no surprise that Guehi mentioned the importance of clamping down on defending set pieces, but Nicolas Jover’s mind might already be in overdrive.

Palace conceded from two throw-ins, a corner and a direct free kick, areas that Arsenal know they can punish Glasner’s side.

Guehi knows what Palace need to do, and made that very clear; now the Gunners need to ensure they have the answers to the visitors’ plan.
