Dowman was the star of the show at home to Everton, as his cross caused chaos in the penalty area, with Viktor Gyokeres turning it home.

Mikel Arteta claims that he had a ‘gut feeling to bring on Dowman when he did, believing that he was more than ready to make an impact.
“Probably in my head, I had a gut feeling. Yesterday, he was training in the last few days, and I had a gut feeling that it was a moment for him,” Arteta told the media.
“Probably because he doesn’t seem to be faced by the occasion or the moment or the context or the opponent.
