Arsenal take on Liverpool in the FA Cup tomorrow, and here’s our predicted XI.
The Gunners ended 2023 with back-to-back defeats. We’ve won just one of our last five games, and that terrible run has to stop. A win against Liverpool tomorrow could really boost our confidence, and we expect Mikel Arteta to make three changes.

Predicted Arsenal XI vs Liverpool
As it’s the FA Cup, we expect Aaron Ramsdale to get into the side in goal ahead of David Raya.
The Englishman has had a difficult season so far, but he’s one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and is more than capable of having a good game against Liverpool.
In front of him, we think Mikel Arteta will go with a defence of Ben White, William Saliba, and Gabriel Magalhaes, and instead of Jakub Kiwior, we expect Oleksandr Zinchenko to return from his injury and start at left-back.
The Ukraine international was at fault when Liverpool equalised against Arsenal two weeks ago, but thankfully, Zinchenko will not have Mohamed Salah to worry about tomorrow as he’s away on international duty.

In Arsenal‘s midfield, we expect to see the same trio as last week – Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard.
The England midfielder has had a couple of disappointing games, and we’re sure he will want to bounce back with a strong performance against Liverpool tomorrow.
In attack, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will likely start on either wing, but up top, we think Eddie Nketiah will make way – not for Gabriel Jesus but for Leandro Trossard.
The Belgian hasn’t had a great season, but we think he deserves a go in the false-nine role. He has a good record against Liverpool as well, having scored five goals, including a hat-trick at Anfield.
Predicted Arsenal XI vs Liverpool: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Rice, Havertz, Odegaard. Martinelli, Saka, Trossard
