Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has all but confirmed his new contract during their 2-2 draw against Wolves.
The Gunners faced the Wanderers at Molineux on Wednesday night, and Mikel Arteta handed another start to the Englishman in the number 10 role.
Saka impressed in that attacking midfield position against Wigan in the FA Cup, but he had an even bigger impact by scoring against Wolves inside the first five minutes.
After doing that, Saka gestured to the travelling Arsenal fans that he had indeed signed a new contract.
If you were Eberechi Eze, how would you feel after seeing Bukayo Saka start in the number 10 role?
Bukayo Saka confirms new Arsenal contract with pen-to-paper gesture
Bukayo Saka’s new contract has been Arsenal’s worst-kept secret.
Talks began with the England international’s agents right after the summer transfer window ended, and although discussions took their time, there was never any doubt about the outcome.
David Ornstein revealed in January that Saka had agreed a new contract at Arsenal.
On Tuesday, just a day before the clash against Wolves, reports elsewhere claimed that the Gunners number seven had put pen to paper on a new deal.

Arsenal haven’t officially announced it yet, so Saka took matters into his own hands after scoring at Molineux in the first half.
The 24-year-old ran in celebration after heading home the opener and accepted his teammates’ congratulations.
Then Saka turned back to face the Arsenal away fans, raised his palm, and made the signing gesture.
That appears to confirm his new deal, and we expect an official announcement to follow imminently.
What do you think this celebration from Bukayo Saka means? Wrong answers only!
Arsenal need to extend Declan Rice’s contract after Bukayo Saka
Saka’s contract extension is a huge boost for Arsenal.
The Englishman is one of their most important players, and tying him down to a long-term deal before all the speculation began is a big positive.
Andrea Berta deserves all the praise in the world for the work he has done with player contracts, but his job is not done just yet.
The Italian’s next priority must be to extend Declan Rice’s contract, and reports have claimed that talks are already underway.
If that can be wrapped up before the end of the season, it would give the Gunners an even bigger boost in the title race.
