Arsenal dropped points against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
The Gunners were the favourites to win the game at the City Ground, but everyone knew that it was going to be a very difficult test against Sean Dyche’s side.
Arsenal had plenty of chances to score, but they missed. Mikel Arteta also complained that his side deserved a penalty after Ola Aina’s handball, but Mark Clattenburg agreed with VAR’s decision to wave play on.
Dyche, unsurprisingly, was a happy man after the game, as a point against a team like Arsenal, who have changed in recent years, is a bonus.
Who was Arsenal’s most disappointing player vs Nottingham Forest?
Sean Dyche explains the Arsenal ‘change’ that has made them an even bigger threat
Arsenal have come a long way since Arteta became the club’s manager in 2019.
The Gunners were really poor then, but they are now one of the best teams in world football. They can beat any side on their day.
Dyche has been playing against Arsenal for about a decade now, and he has seen their evolution under Arteta.

After the draw at the City Ground on Saturday, the Nottingham Forest manager hailed his players for keeping a clean sheet because it is so difficult to do that against an Arsenal side who have changed in recent years.
Dyche said, as per HaytersTV: “Make no mistake, they are – well, you all know, I don’t have to remind you – they are a top side.
“The change they’ve done really is that three or four years ago, everyone was saying they have to score beautiful goals. As we know, they’ll now score hard goals, ugly goals and set-piece goals.
“I think that makes them more of a threat personally.”
Be honest. Did Arsenal deserve a penalty for Ola Aina’s handball?
Sean Dyche is right about Arsenal but there’s still a problem
Dyche is right, Arsenal have become a side capable of scoring every single type of goal.
The Premier League leaders have done that on many occasions already this season, but their biggest problem was put on display against Nottingham Forest.
The hosts defended well, but Arsenal still created four big opportunities. They should’ve scored from at least one of them, but they didn’t, and that is a big issue.
Declan Rice was furious that Arsenal failed to convert their chances yet again, and rightly so. Every supporter had the same feeling after the game as well.
That needs to change in the coming games.
